Brief breakdown of "WHO DESERVES A RECORD DEAL"
WHO DESERVES A RECORD DEAL is an avenue that Shockwave Studios created to assist creatively talented upcoming artistes in the music industry. We have decided to curve out our own way of giving out record deals that is totally different from the norm.
Shockwave Studios has invested massively in this project, Ranging from hosting the contenders at different times, paying some international tv stations such as CTL AFRICA, NOLLYWOOD MOVIES & NOLLYWOOD+ and also some online Tv platforms to air the show and also a magazine that is currently in the works to further promote these artistes.
This program is not just to assist the artistes by giving them record deals but also to bring to lime light and also bring them together so they can meet their fellow artistes who they are better than and who are better than them, this will make them buckle up and know that they have alot of catching up to do. Note that all they paid was just a token of N5000 which we hosted them in a hotel for two days and feed them three square meals daily and still have plans of hosting them again before and on the end of the program. So far, we have submitted the materials to the TV stations and we're currently waiting for them to give us the airing schedule so we can now make it public.
Many thought it was a joke while many thought is an avenue for revenue for us but in the end the serious one will get the prize and step-up their career. Shockwave Studios is all about supporting artistes all over Nigeria that is why we keep innovating ways to support their careers such as shooting a promotional music video for them for just N15,000 only. As an Artiste, OUR STRENGTH + YOUR STRENGTH = SUCCESS!
